Easy mild salsa recipe?

  • I am going to be making salsa for my spanish class. I am looking for a good, easy, mild recipe. Any hints for making good salsa too.

  • 2 cups chopped plum tomatoes
1/2 of a large red onion
    1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 whole jalepeno pepper. if its not spicy enough add another 1/2
    1/2 lime juiced
    salt and pepper to taste

add everything together and mix well.cover and put in the fridge overnight so the lime juice marinades in with the rest of the ingredients.

    enjoy!!

You can find all about food and great healthy recipes you want to know instantly. You just have to download it. anyways, it's free and safe, and you can use it the rest of your life. Try it. Have fun cooking!

  • 1 white onion
    1/2 bunch cilantro
    3 tomatoes
    1 large jalapeño pepper
1 small can of chili peppers
    The juice of 2 limes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 clove garlic (chopped)
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp.pepper

Chop the tomatoes, Chop the onions, the jalapeño pepper, the cilantro, the chili peppers and mix them together.. Add the lime juice, garlic clove, salt, pepper & sugar, mix well...

you can also add some sour cream to the bottom and cheddar cheese to the top and its donee =D

  • Roast 4 roma tomatoes one medium jalapeño for 8-10 minutes in the oven @250 then in a blender put half of a small onion a small garlic clove, season salt, pepper add the roasted tomatoes and jalapeño ad a little bit of water blend for 30 secs. and that's it a really nice non spicy salsa.
